Greek National Satellite Space Project: Axis 3 Agriculture Monitoring Service!
️The GIS Research Unit of the Agricultural University of Athens, with scientific supervisor Professor Dionysios Kalyvas, participates alongside the companies Agroapps PC – lead partner, Space Hellas, TotalView, EOFARM, and Cloud Signals in the consortium of the international competition of the European Space Agency, titled Greek National Satellite Space Project: Axis 3 Agriculture Monitoring Service.
Το πρόγραμμα θα αναπτύξει χρησιμοποιώντας δορυφορικά δεδομένα (πολυφασματικά, υπερφασματικά, και SAR-ραντάρ) υψηλής ανάλυσης των ελληνικών μικροδορυφόρων και των δορυφόρων #Copernicus, καθώς και μετρήσεις πεδίου – in-situ data, τρεις υπηρεσίες:

➡️Soil Moisture
➡️Crop Growth Monitoring
The Ministry of Digital Governance, in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), has initiated the major project of the Greek Microsatellites and the services that will be developed using the data they will collect.
The GIS Research Unit of the Agricultural University of Athens is proud to be part of this significant "journey."
The snapshots are from the working meeting (September 2-3, 2024) of the contractor companies of the 5 programs of Axis 3 of the Greek National Satellite Space Project at the Ministry of Digital Governance.
