First day of the Training School on Drones in Viticulture, organized by the GIS Research Unit of AUA in Nemea. Greetings from the Mayor of Nemea, Mr. Kostas Frousios, the President of EDΟAO, Mr. Kostas Efstathiou, and the President of AOSN, Mr. Ilias Mazos. Presentations to the trainees (by the program coordinator, Mr. Dionysis Kalyvas, and the speakers Mr. Antonis Kavvadias, Mr. Stelios Gerontidis, and Mr. Vassilis Skliros) on geospatial technologies at the Agricultural University of Athens, the STOEV Nemea program, and the legislation governing drone usage. The day ended with lunch and "flights" over wines from various vineyards in the region.
