ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PERMANENT POSITION OF LABORATORY TEACHING STAFF (E.DI.P.) IN SOIL SCIENCE

An open announcement (Government Gazette 1713/03.07.2023, issue G’) for the filling of one (1) position of Laboratory Teaching Staff (E.DI.P.) in Soil Science at the Department of Natural Resources Management and Agricultural Engineering (NRM & AE) of the Agricultural University of Athens. The position involves conducting laboratory/applied teaching work in the Laboratory of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry of the Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry Division, with the following content: Physical, chemical, mineralogical properties, and morphological characteristics of soils, Soil genesis, classification, mapping, and evaluation, Soil biology and ecology, Soil fertility, Fertilizers and fertilization, Soil erosion, salinization, alkalization, desertification, and soil pollution, Soil resource protection and ecosystem restoration.
Required qualifications for the position:
1. Degree from a Higher Education Institution (HEI) relevant to the field of Soil Science.
2. Master's degree in a subject related to Soil Science. Additionally, the following formal and substantial qualifications are required:
Ph.D. degree in a subject related to Soil Science.
Professional, research, and teaching experience in areas related to Soil Science.
Publications in reputable international peer-reviewed scientific journals in the field of Soil Science.
