He graduated from the Department of Natural Resource Management and Agricultural Engineering of the Agricultural University of Athens (1994) and holds a master's degree in Environmental Management (2000).

From 1994 to 2000, he worked on various research projects at the Soil Science Laboratory of the Agricultural University of Athens as a G.I.S. manager.

From 2000 to 2002, he worked in technical companies and in the IT department of Vodafone as a Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S.) application analyst.

From 2004 to 2007, he was responsible for training the staff of the company AGROGI S.A. on G.I.S. and Remote Sensing issues, in the project of digitizing the settlement land records of the Ministry of Agriculture.

From 2004 to 2011, he was a G.I.S. technical consultant at CREATIVE IMAGE TECHNOLOGIES, for the design, development, and implementation of the first Greek vehicle navigation application.

From 2000 to the present, he has been involved in teaching laboratory exercises at the Agricultural University of Athens in the courses: Geographic Information Systems, Modern applications in the inventory of soil resources, applications of Geographic Information Systems in the environment.
