Participation in the 15th International Workshop on Statistical Hydrology and Ground Water (STAHY-ICGW 2026)
The GIS Research Unit of the Agricultural University of Athens participated in the 15th International Workshop on Statistical Hydrology and Ground Water (STAHY-ICGW 2026) through its representative, Assistant Professor Konstantinos Soulis. The workshop, held in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, brought together leading researchers from around the world to discuss advances in statistical hydrology, water resources, and modern data analysis methods.
During the workshop, the Research Unit presented its latest research findings within the framework of the European project Path4Med, while the Unit also actively contributed to the scientific and institutional activities of the event, fostering international dialogue on key challenges related to hydrology, climate resilience, and the sustainable management of water resources.
The participation of the GIS Research Unit in this international event further strengthens its commitment to scientific excellence, international collaboration, and the development of innovative solutions to address current and future environmental challenges.
